Having troubles playing FPS's on new LCD tv.?

I recently bought a vizio 32" in LCD tv. Im having troubles playing MW2 on it. It seems when I move it moves with a kinda jerky way, and kinda late. I do have my xbox hooked up by componet caples, and the game looks great. But this seems to be my main issue.
