How do we ban Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan from the media?

I am exhausted with seeing both these celebrities act out and only to get the media attention to keep their ....ehem...acting/singing careers afloat. It is a vicious cycle because our culture is fascinated with their obnoxious behaviour which then produces more need from the media to get coverage of them acting out of control....so they continue the behaviour. I stopped buying magazines that even had a hint of news about them. What else can individuals do to get their voice heard to the media that when focusing on celebrities-to focus on someone who is living more in reality-has more kindness and is actually doing positve things in the world...individuals we can actually have respect for?
