I like my best friend!?

i know how you are feeling right now. My best friend that is a guy ( ironicly david) and we tell eachother everything and have been extremely close sense we were 13, ( i'm 16 ). You are not wrong at all. You saw that george just wanted to be friends, so you did what anyone would do, you started looking else where. When george told you he actually loved you and such, It was a normal human reaction to want to make yourself distant from george because you had liked him all along yet he turned you down before. You were hurt and needed time to heal. It took alot for you to apologize so good job. A reason why george maybe acting "cold" is because he is hurt as well. And he took the first girl he could find to try and convince himself he doesn't love you or use her as a way to move on. You should for sure go and meet george. tell him EVERYTHING that is on your mind about you two. dont hold back. you will regret it. and if all fails, at least you knew you tried and you can't look back thinking "how could things have been different if i actually told him how i felt". even if you're not as close as you were, true best friends will always have that click with eachother and will always understand the other.
