The movie blood diamond + other depressing african movies?

i love the african movies, and I am an american, my sister brought some african movies back from her trip from jamanica, yes some of them are heart broking but maybe we need to see this type of thing to bring some of us back to reality of how to treat one another and to appreciate what we have as a family, friends ,health children , money and love for each other. The movies are real and i love them i am happy that i was lucky enough to come across these types of movies ,instead of gangster american movies all of the time.
